If you're a local in Tucson you have probably seen the Maya Tea Company product line in cafes, restaurants, and various shops all throughout the town. Their tea is delightful and I was able to create some various designs for their parent company as well as their sister company Transit Tea, a local drive-thru tea spot.
Transit Tea Trailer
I was tasked with designing the wrap for an exciting new venture for Transit Tea which was their mobile trailer. If you've driven by the Transit Tea shop on Speedway Blvd you cannot miss the colorful building with bubbly fruits adorned on it. The idea for the trailer was to take what was already successful, but grab your attention on the go. I opted for a sunset ombré color scheme and use the bubble icons to drive home the Transit branding. I also pitched the "Refreshment Revolution" tagline as Transit wanted to make Tucsonan's aware of their unique offerings. The final wrap is something really beautiful and easy to notice when you're out and about which made this design a success.
"Tucson Is Tea Town" Tees
I was tasked with designing a t-shirt for Transit Tea that had a retro neon sign motif. I brainstormed many iconic signs throughout the town, but the old Tucson Inn sign on Drachman Street called to me. Transit Tea wanted to push the "Tucson Is Tea Town" tagline for this shirt which is a play on the T-Town nickname for Tucson. The final product is mocked up on a model wearing the shirt and has a cheeky, slick look to it. The shirt design was made in Adobe Illustrator and then mocked up in Adobe Photoshop.
Transit Tea Cups
This is a lineup of cups for Transit Tea at the end of 2025. There is a hot air balloon tea mug design, a Tucson is Tea Town Cowboy Cup, and a spilled tea camping cup. Each size has a different design and the idea was to bring Tucson lifestyle and Transit's identity together to tell a story. The cups are lively, colorful and showcase the vibrance of Tucson culture and Transit Tea's explorative branding.
Maya Tea Sell Sheets
This was a digital design I was tasked with to create an organized, appealing sell sheet for prospective customers. The Maya sales team send these sheets out to any clients who have questions about Maya Tea's product lineup. I wanted to make the headers really pop out by using colors with vibrancy and use product imagery to showcase the ease of use. I subtly included some mandalas to tie in Maya Tea's branding and the body of the sheets had some playful captions with short and concise descriptions of the product. This design really helped organized the online catalog to help customers make easier choices.
Transit Tea Stickers
Making stickers is one of my favorite things to design. As a self professed stickerholic it was a blast to have more creative liberties and go wild with different themes. Here are some of my favorite stickers I made for Transit Tea throughout 2025. Featured is the Chai Reaper, Matcha Man, Matcha Muchacha, and the fierce Tiger Cola.
